Prada Gifts: l’e-commerce natalizio di Prada

Miuccia Prada aveva già affermato le propria fiducia nelle potenzialità di internet, come riportava Lucia Vellandi di TSW qui. Alcuni mesi fa, Prada aveva sperimentato le aste online di “pezzi” unici, prototipi di abbigliamento e accessori. Per questo Natale, è stato lanciato un progetto più ambizioso: Prada Gifts, la vendita online di prodotti Prada in occasioni delle festività natalizie.

Prada Gifts è stato pubblicizzato attraverso uno strumento mai usato prima da Prada, i banner: 350×250 e grandi formati, realizzati e pianificati internamente. Questi banner sono stati inseriti su grandi siti di moda e portali d’informazione quotidiana italiani, francesi, inglesi e tedeschi e nelle sezioni territoriali di portali internazionali

La redemption maggiore è stata ottenuta dai grandi formati, mentre il maggior numero di acquisti sono stati fatti dall’Inghilterra e dall’Italia, seguite a sopresa da Germania e Spagna. Una delle caratteristiche più apprezzate dagli utenti è la possibilità di acquistare online un regalo e farlo recapitare direttamente all’indirizzo del destinatario del regalo, mentre la fattura viene spedita al compratore.

Il progetto Prada Gift può essere considerato un importante punto di inizio dell’e-commerce di Prada, in quanto il buon andamento registrato finora da questo progetto ha mostrato l’esistenza di ottimi presupposti per realizzare la vendita online dei prodotti di questo grande marchio di moda italiano, non solo in occasioni particolari.
